Cabo Sprinter Van Airport Transfer | 9-18 Passenger Groups

Our standard Mercedes Sprinter is a 16-passenger configuration with reclining seats, headrests, and overhead storage. With reduced luggage (carry-on only) it accommodates up to 18. For maximum comfort with full checked luggage on a longer transfer (Pacífico, Pacific-side resorts, Todos Santos), 12-14 passengers is the sweet spot. The cargo area accommodates 12-16 standard checked bags plus carry-ons.

The Los Cabos taxi sindicato does not publish a fixed rate for a Sprinter-sized group. Its official zone chart ($65-85 to San José del Cabo, $75-95 to Tourist Corridor, $90-115 to Cabo San Lucas, $110-130 to Pacífico) covers sedans and Suburbans; for a party large enough to need a Sprinter, the kiosk agent asks how many people you have and quotes the vehicle separately, on the spot, after your flight has already landed. That works fine for a family of four. For a wedding party or corporate group of 12-16 traveling together, it means negotiating a group rate at the curb with no advance price and no guarantee everyone fits in one vehicle.

Shared shuttle pricing works in your favor up to about 8 passengers — beyond that, both the math and the logistics break down. A group of 12-18 booked on a shared shuttle does not travel together: shuttle vans seat 10-14 total, so a group that size gets split across two departures, each making its own 2-4 hotel stops before reaching yours. You would pay less per seat than a private sedan, but you would recreate the exact coordination problem — split arrival times, no single point of contact, no guaranteed same-vehicle seating — that a Sprinter is built to solve for large groups arriving together.

Booking a Sprinter for a large group in advance also locks both the vehicle and the price weeks before your flight lands. The sindicato has no reservation system — you cannot call ahead and pre-book a specific vehicle size, so a large wedding party or corporate group has no way to confirm a Sprinter is even available until they are standing at the kiosk after landing. During high season (Dec-Apr), that uncertainty is the real risk for a 12+ person arrival: the kiosk may only have sedans and Suburbans free that day, forcing the exact split-group scenario described above, at whatever rate is quoted on the spot.

1. Single point of contact: book under one organizer's name. The driver meets the group at Shaded Area #3 once everyone has cleared customs.
2. Send the flight number: we track the arrival and the group leader's phone number. If everyone is on the same flight, that one number is enough.
3. Multi-flight groups: send a list of flight numbers via WhatsApp; we coordinate consolidation at the airport (waiting area, meet-and-greet flow).
4. Departure planning: confirm 24 hours before departure with us via WhatsApp. We plan pickup based on the latest flight + recommended buffer.
