How you'll find us at the airport.

Exit the arrivals terminal

Walk out through the main arrivals doors after baggage claim and customs. You'll see a series of numbered canopies / shaded areas ahead of you.

Walk straight to Shaded Area #3

Continue walking straight ahead, crossing the street, and you'll arrive at **Shaded Area #3** — our official meet-up point.

Some airport directories will list this as 'Canopy 3' or 'Sombra 3' — same place. If you can't see it, ask any airport security host for 'Shaded Area 3' and they'll point.

Look for the white-shirt embroidered uniform

One of our airport hosts will be waiting under the canopy. Long white sleeves with colorful Mexican embroidery, khaki pants, holding a board with **your name** and the Cabo Airport Transportation logo.

Our uniform is distinctive on purpose — nobody else at SJD wears it. You'll see your name before they see you.

They'll call your vehicle

The host greets you, takes a moment to confirm the booking, and radios your driver — who's already in the staging area and arrives at the curb in under two minutes. Your bags go in. Your trip begins. During the ride, ask anything you need. Recommendations, restaurant tips, local advice — your driver is at your service.

Your driver's uniform

Embroidered shirt + khaki pants — distinctive on purpose.

A small concierge note from us.

Inside the airport, before you reach our meet-up point, you may be approached by friendly people offering free tours, free taxis, or asking about your hotel. These are timeshare presentation salespeople — not airport staff. They've caused confusion for our guests in the past. The simplest move: keep walking past them. Our host is waiting outside at Shaded Area #3, no matter what anyone inside tells you.

From baggage claim to your suite.

You land

Customs and baggage are out of our hands — we estimate ~25-40 min after wheels-down before you reach arrivals. Our flight-tracker already knows.

You walk to Shaded Area #3

Our host has been waiting. Your name on the board. No scramble, no signs to misread.

Your driver arrives in under two minutes

Bags in the trunk, water in the door pocket, A/C cool. The host steps back. The road to your hotel begins.

You arrive at the suite

Doormen know us. They open the door for the bags. You walk into your stay with nothing left to manage.

About this transfer

GuideUpdated May 15, 20263 min read

Written by the Cabos Airport Transportation operations team — we drive these routes every day.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa sits on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas, inside the gated Quivira community, about 48 km southwest of Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). A private door-to-door transfer takes 35-45 minutes off-peak. One-way pricing starts at $123 USD for a private van — child seats, bottled water, tolls, and flight tracking included. No taxi line, and no shared shuttle stops — Quivira's gate does not admit shared-shuttle operators.

How long is the transfer from SJD to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica?

The drive from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica covers roughly 48 km — the full Tourist Corridor southwest, through downtown Cabo San Lucas, then up the Pacific-facing coastal road to the gated Quivira entrance. Outside of peak hours expect a 35-45 minute ride. During peak season (Dec-Apr) and on cruise-ship arrival days, traffic through downtown Cabo San Lucas can add 15-20 minutes, stretching the ride to 45-55 minutes. Our drivers know the alternate side streets that bypass the worst of that congestion, and track your flight in real time to plan the route around live traffic.

Private transfer vs. taxi vs. shared shuttle to Pueblo Bonito Pacifica

How a private transfer compares for SJD → Pueblo Bonito Pacifica
OptionApprox. costTime to resortComfort
Private transfer (us)$123 USD / vehicle35-45 min directA/C, water, child seats, cleared at the Quivira gate
Taxi sindicato (Zone 4+)$110-130 USD / vehicle35-60 minCash only at the arrivals kiosk, no flight tracking
Shared shuttleNot offeredN/ACannot enter the gated Quivira community
Rental car$50-90 USD / day + insurance35-45 minYou drive after a long flight; still needs gate clearance

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica sits inside Quivira, a gated master-planned community on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas — and shared-shuttle operators are not authorized through that gate. That rules out the budget shuttle option most travelers compare against on other Cabo zones: your realistic choices for this resort are a private transfer (like ours), the taxi sindicato's Zone 4+ rate ($110-130), or a rental car. Our $123 rate sits within the sindicato's own range while adding flight tracking, child seats, and a driver who already knows the Quivira gate procedure — a rental car only pays off if you plan day trips beyond the resort, and it does not adjust for a delayed flight.

Arrival at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica — what to expect

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa is an adults-only, all-inclusive property inside Quivira, with a guarded gate checkpoint on the cliffside access road before the resort entrance. We have your reservation on file before you arrive, so the gate clears the vehicle without a hold-up. Our driver pulls into the resort drop-off circle directly — no walking from a parking lot with bags. The Pueblo Bonito Pacifica bellmen meet the vehicle, take the luggage, and the front desk handles your check-in and all-inclusive wristband from there.

Pueblo Bonito Pacifica vs. Sunset Beach vs. Rosé Resort — which Pueblo Bonito is this?

Pueblo Bonito operates four distinct Los Cabos properties, and the brand name alone will not tell your driver which gate to head to. Pueblo Bonito Pacifica and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach are both inside the gated Quivira community on the Pacific side — different gates, different entrances, but the same $123/$130/$200 pricing tier and 35-45 minute drive as this page. Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort is a separate property on Médano Beach in downtown Cabo San Lucas, at the standard $107/$115/$169 tier with a shorter drive. Pueblo Bonito Blanco Los Cabos is also a separate downtown property at that same $107 tier. Check your hotel confirmation email before booking so we send the right vehicle to the right gate.
