How you'll find us at the airport.

Exit the arrivals terminal

Walk out through the main arrivals doors after baggage claim and customs. You'll see a series of numbered canopies / shaded areas ahead of you.

Walk straight to Shaded Area #3

Continue walking straight ahead, crossing the street, and you'll arrive at **Shaded Area #3** — our official meet-up point.

Some airport directories will list this as 'Canopy 3' or 'Sombra 3' — same place. If you can't see it, ask any airport security host for 'Shaded Area 3' and they'll point.

Look for the white-shirt embroidered uniform

One of our airport hosts will be waiting under the canopy. Long white sleeves with colorful Mexican embroidery, khaki pants, holding a board with **your name** and the Cabo Airport Transportation logo.

Our uniform is distinctive on purpose — nobody else at SJD wears it. You'll see your name before they see you.

They'll call your vehicle

The host greets you, takes a moment to confirm the booking, and radios your driver — who's already in the staging area and arrives at the curb in under two minutes. Your bags go in. Your trip begins. During the ride, ask anything you need. Recommendations, restaurant tips, local advice — your driver is at your service.

Your driver's uniform

Embroidered shirt + khaki pants — distinctive on purpose.

A small concierge note from us.

Inside the airport, before you reach our meet-up point, you may be approached by friendly people offering free tours, free taxis, or asking about your hotel. These are timeshare presentation salespeople — not airport staff. They've caused confusion for our guests in the past. The simplest move: keep walking past them. Our host is waiting outside at Shaded Area #3, no matter what anyone inside tells you.

From baggage claim to your suite.

You land

Customs and baggage are out of our hands — we estimate ~25-40 min after wheels-down before you reach arrivals. Our flight-tracker already knows.

You walk to Shaded Area #3

Our host has been waiting. Your name on the board. No scramble, no signs to misread.

Your driver arrives in under two minutes

Bags in the trunk, water in the door pocket, A/C cool. The host steps back. The road to your hotel begins.

You arrive at the suite

Doormen know us. They open the door for the bags. You walk into your stay with nothing left to manage.

About this transfer

GuideUpdated October 13, 20265 min read

Written by the Cabos Airport Transportation operations team — we drive these routes every day.

Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco Beach Resort sits directly on Playa El Médano in Cabo San Lucas, about 45 km from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). A private door-to-door transfer takes 35-45 minutes off-peak. One-way pricing starts at $107 USD for a private van — child seats, tolls, and flight tracking included. No taxi line, no shared shuttle stops.

How long is the transfer from SJD to Pueblo Bonito Blanco Los Cabos?

The drive from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) to Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco covers roughly 45 km along Carretera Transpeninsular (Highway 1), the length of the Tourist Corridor and then into Cabo San Lucas proper before turning down to the Médano Beach hotel row. Outside of peak hours expect a 35-45 minute ride. From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm — when most US and Canada flights land — traffic through the corridor and downtown can stretch the drive to 50-55 minutes. Our drivers track your flight in real time and plan the route around live traffic, so a late landing does not cost you the ride.

Which vehicle is the right fit for Pueblo Bonito Blanco?

Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco is an all-suite, family-friendly property — 147 suites, most with kitchenettes and a Kids Club on site — so parties often arrive as a family group with strollers, car seats and a week of luggage rather than as a couple with carry-ons. Three vehicle categories cover every party size headed to the resort. All-inclusive pricing: what you see at checkout is what you pay.

Private transfer vs. taxi vs. shared shuttle to Pueblo Bonito Blanco

How a private transfer compares for SJD → Pueblo Bonito Blanco

Private transfer (us)$107 USD / vehicle35-45 min directA/C, water, child seats, no detours
Taxi sindicato (Zone 4, Cabo San Lucas)$90-115 USD / vehicle35-45 minCash only at the arrivals kiosk, no flight tracking
Shared shuttle (third-party operators, e.g. Cabo Shuttle, Discount Cabo)$25-40 USD / person90-120 min15-60 min fill wait + 2-4 hotel stops before yours
Rental car$50-90 USD / day + insurance35-45 minYou drive after a long flight; downtown parking is tight

A shared shuttle from a third-party operator can look cheaper per person, but it is not a service we run ourselves — we only offer private vehicles. Third-party shuttles into Cabo San Lucas typically run 90-120 minutes once you add the 15-60 minute fill wait and the 2-4 hotel stops ahead of yours, versus a 35-45 minute direct ride to Pueblo Bonito Blanco. The math also flips fast: at $25-40 per person, a family of four is already at $100-160 — at or above our $107 flat van rate for the whole vehicle. The Zone 4 taxi sindicato rate ($90-115) sits close to our flat price, but it is cash-only at the arrivals kiosk with no flight-delay coverage and no price locked in before you land. See our full private-vs-shared-shuttle breakdown for the per-passenger math.

Arrival at Pueblo Bonito Blanco — what to expect

Our driver pulls straight into the Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco entrance off the Médano Beach access road — no walking from a public lot with bags, and no drop-off on the busy beach-club strip. Bell staff meet the vehicle, take the luggage, and the front desk handles check-in and all-inclusive wristbands from there. If you are arriving late, the drive is the same 45 km: evening traffic through downtown is lighter than the 4:00-7:00 pm window.

Which Pueblo Bonito is this? Blanco vs. Rosé vs. Pacifica vs. Sunset Beach

Pueblo Bonito operates four Los Cabos resorts and the brand name alone does not tell your driver where to go. This page covers Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco Beach Resort, on Playa El Médano in Cabo San Lucas — the property your confirmation may also call simply "Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos". It shares the Médano Beach hotel row, and the same $107 van / $115 VIP Suburban / $169 Sprinter Cabo San Lucas pricing and 35-45 minute drive, with its sister property Pueblo Bonito Rosé Resort a short walk away (the two run a complimentary shuttle between them, which is why guests often mix up the names). Pueblo Bonito Pacifica and Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach are a different matter: both sit inside the gated Quivira community on the Pacific side, at the $123/$130/$200 Pacífico tier, behind a guarded gate and on a longer drive. Booking the Médano rate for a Pacific-side arrival — or the reverse — means the wrong price and the wrong route.

Pueblo Bonito Blanco and Médano Beach — what you are arriving to

Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos Blanco is a Mediterranean-style, all-suite beach resort of 147 suites with direct access to Médano Beach, facing the Sea of Cortez toward Land's End. Médano is the only calm, swimmable beach inside Cabo San Lucas proper — the Pacific-side resorts on our Pacífico zone page sit on rougher, west-facing water — so guests here can actually swim in front of the property, and paddle-boarding and kayaking operate off the sand. On site there are three restaurants and bars, plus a Kids Club; guests also have access to five more restaurants and two bars at the sister properties, with a complimentary shuttle running between them and the full-service spa at Pueblo Bonito Rosé. The downtown Marina, the boat docks for El Arco trips, and the restaurant strip are a few blocks away, which is why this end of hotel row tends to suit travelers who want to walk into town rather than drive.

Beachfront resort pool lined with palm trees in Cabo San Lucas, the setting of the Médano Beach hotel row served by our SJD airport transfers
Médano Beach hotel row, where Pueblo Bonito Blanco sits — 45 km and 35-45 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport.

Because the resort is all-suite and family-oriented, arrivals here are frequently 5-8 people across two suites on the same flight. That is the party size where a single van ($107, up to 8 passengers) does the job and nobody needs a second vehicle — worth confirming the headcount before you book, since going one passenger over 8 changes the vehicle. If you are still choosing between properties in the area, our Cabo San Lucas zone page gives the same distance-and-price breakdown for every hotel on the Médano Beach and Marina hotel row.
