About the tip: our drivers are paid a fair living wage by us — not from your tip. If our driver makes your arrival feel like a small gift, a tip is welcome. It's never expected and never charged at checkout.

We monitor your flight in real time and adjust for delays. Your driver is always at the right place at the right time.
$107 includes vehicle, driver, taxes, tolls, water, and child seats. The number you see is the number you pay. Tip is welcome but never expected.

Walk out through the main arrivals doors after baggage claim and customs. You'll see a series of numbered canopies / shaded areas ahead of you.
Continue walking straight ahead, crossing the street, and you'll arrive at **Shaded Area #3** — our official meet-up point.
Some airport directories will list this as 'Canopy 3' or 'Sombra 3' — same place. If you can't see it, ask any airport security host for 'Shaded Area 3' and they'll point.
One of our airport hosts will be waiting under the canopy. Long white sleeves with colorful Mexican embroidery, khaki pants, holding a board with **your name** and the Cabo Airport Transportation logo.
Our uniform is distinctive on purpose — nobody else at SJD wears it. You'll see your name before they see you.
The host greets you, takes a moment to confirm the booking, and radios your driver — who's already in the staging area and arrives at the curb in under two minutes. Your bags go in. Your trip begins. During the ride, ask anything you need. Recommendations, restaurant tips, local advice — your driver is at your service.

Embroidered shirt + khaki pants — distinctive on purpose.
A small concierge note from us.
Inside the airport, before you reach our meet-up point, you may be approached by friendly people offering free tours, free taxis, or asking about your hotel. These are timeshare presentation salespeople — not airport staff. They've caused confusion for our guests in the past. The simplest move: keep walking past them. Our host is waiting outside at Shaded Area #3, no matter what anyone inside tells you.
You land
Customs and baggage are out of our hands — we estimate ~25-40 min after wheels-down before you reach arrivals. Our flight-tracker already knows.
You walk to Shaded Area #3
Our host has been waiting. Your name on the board. No scramble, no signs to misread.
Your driver arrives in under two minutes
Bags in the trunk, water in the door pocket, A/C cool. The host steps back. The road to your hotel begins.
You arrive at the suite
Doormen know us. They open the door for the bags. You walk into your stay with nothing left to manage.

Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort sits inside the gated Puerto Los Cabos community, about 17 km east of Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), just past San José del Cabo town. A private door-to-door transfer takes 25-30 minutes off-peak. One-way pricing starts at $84 USD for a private van — child seats, bottled water, tolls, and flight tracking included. No taxi line, no shared shuttle stops, no gate delays.

The drive from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) to Secrets Puerto Los Cabos covers roughly 17 km: south on Highway 1 through San José del Cabo, then east onto the Puerto Los Cabos access road to the resort’s gate. Outside of peak hours expect a 25-30 min ride. From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm — when most US/Canada flights land — traffic through San José del Cabo can stretch the drive to 35-40 min. Our drivers track your flight in real time and plan the route around live traffic.

| VIP Suburban | Up to 6 pax | Anniversaries, premium ride | $84 USD |
| Mercedes Sprinter | Up to 18 pax | Girlfriend trips, group celebrations | $138 USD |
| Option | Approx. cost | Time to resort | Comfort |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $84 USD / vehicle | 25-30 min direct | A/C, water, child seats, gate already cleared |
| Taxi sindicato (Zone 2, Puerto Los Cabos) | $70-90 USD / vehicle | 25-30 min | Cash only at the arrivals kiosk, no flight tracking |
| Shared shuttle (third-party operators, e.g. Cabo Shuttle, Discount Cabo) | $25-40 USD / person | 90+ min | No standing gate arrangement with Puerto Los Cabos properties |
| Rental car | $50-90 USD / day + insurance | 25-30 min | You drive after a long flight, plus the gate check-in |
The gate is what actually narrows the options for Secrets Puerto Los Cabos, more than price. Shared shuttles are usually the cheapest way into most Cabos zones on a per-person basis, but they do not have standing arrangements with any gated community in Los Cabos — the shuttle company cannot clear your name at the guard gate, so it is not sold as an option for a Secrets Puerto Los Cabos reservation. The Zone 2 taxi sindicato rate ($70-90) sits close to our $84 flat price, but it is cash-only with no flight-delay coverage and no guarantee the driver already has your name staged with the gate guard. A rental car works if you plan to explore San José del Cabo or the East Cape independently, but for a straight airport-to-resort run it adds insurance cost and puts a jet-lagged traveler behind the wheel for the gate check-in.
After the community gate, our driver continues straight to the Secrets Puerto Los Cabos porte-cochère — no parking lot, no walking from a lobby drop-off point. Valets meet the vehicle, take the luggage, and check-in (18+ only, ID checked at the front desk) handles the rest.
Secrets Puerto Los Cabos Golf & Spa Resort is an adults-only (18+), all-inclusive resort with 500 oceanfront suites — 150 of them Preferred Club suites with additional privileges — set inside the Puerto Los Cabos master-planned community on the Sea of Cortez. The resort runs on the Unlimited-Luxury model (gourmet à la carte dining, top-shelf spirits, 24-hour room and concierge service) and sits beside the community’s Jack Nicklaus and Greg Norman-designed golf courses. Puerto Los Cabos itself is a gated, marina-anchored development about 10 minutes past downtown San José del Cabo, which keeps the resort close to town restaurants and the Thursday Art Walk while staying inside its own guarded perimeter.
Secrets Puerto Los Cabos is easy to confuse with the beachfront Zona Hotelera hotels closer to downtown San José del Cabo (Hyatt Ziva, JW Marriott, Viceroy) because all of them share the "San José del Cabo" tourist area. Secrets sits past that strip, inside the separately gated Puerto Los Cabos community, which is why its transfer runs a bit longer (25-30 min vs. 15-20 min for Hotel Row) and clears a community gate the beachfront hotels do not have. If your confirmation just says "San José del Cabo" without Secrets, Zadun, or El Ganzo named, our San José del Cabo zone page and our Puerto Los Cabos zone page both cover the distance-and-price breakdown for their respective areas.
Your transfer is ready whenever you are. Book in under 2 minutes — no account needed.
