About the tip: our drivers are paid a fair living wage by us — not from your tip. If our driver makes your arrival feel like a small gift, a tip is welcome. It's never expected and never charged at checkout.

We monitor your flight in real time and adjust for delays. Your driver is always at the right place at the right time.
$107 includes vehicle, driver, taxes, tolls, water, and child seats. The number you see is the number you pay. Tip is welcome but never expected.

Walk out through the main arrivals doors after baggage claim and customs. You'll see a series of numbered canopies / shaded areas ahead of you.
Continue walking straight ahead, crossing the street, and you'll arrive at **Shaded Area #3** — our official meet-up point.
Some airport directories will list this as 'Canopy 3' or 'Sombra 3' — same place. If you can't see it, ask any airport security host for 'Shaded Area 3' and they'll point.
One of our airport hosts will be waiting under the canopy. Long white sleeves with colorful Mexican embroidery, khaki pants, holding a board with **your name** and the Cabo Airport Transportation logo.
Our uniform is distinctive on purpose — nobody else at SJD wears it. You'll see your name before they see you.
The host greets you, takes a moment to confirm the booking, and radios your driver — who's already in the staging area and arrives at the curb in under two minutes. Your bags go in. Your trip begins. During the ride, ask anything you need. Recommendations, restaurant tips, local advice — your driver is at your service.

A small concierge note from us.
Inside the airport, before you reach our meet-up point, you may be approached by friendly people offering free tours, free taxis, or asking about your hotel. These are timeshare presentation salespeople — not airport staff. They've caused confusion for our guests in the past. The simplest move: keep walking past them. Our host is waiting outside at Shaded Area #3, no matter what anyone inside tells you.
You land
Customs and baggage are out of our hands — we estimate ~25-40 min after wheels-down before you reach arrivals. Our flight-tracker already knows.
You walk to Shaded Area #3
Our host has been waiting. Your name on the board. No scramble, no signs to misread.
Your driver arrives in under two minutes
Bags in the trunk, water in the door pocket, A/C cool. The host steps back. The road to your hotel begins.
You arrive at the suite
Doormen know us. They open the door for the bags. You walk into your stay with nothing left to manage.

The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa sits at Km 22.5 of the Carretera Transpeninsular, at the San José end of the Tourist Corridor — 20-25 km from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). A private airport shuttle takes 22-30 minutes off-peak, 32-45 minutes in peak season. From $92 USD one way, child seats, tolls and flight tracking included.

The Westin Los Cabos Resort Villas & Spa is at Km 22.5 of the Carretera Transpeninsular, on the San José del Cabo side of the Tourist Corridor — 20-25 km (12-16 miles) from SJD, the same distance band our corridor zone page gives Hilton Los Cabos and Marquis Los Cabos. Off-peak, that is a 22-30 minute ride straight down Highway 1. During peak afternoon arrivals (12:00-4:00 pm) in high season (Dec-Apr), traffic through San José del Cabo adds 10-15 minutes, stretching the ride to 32-45 minutes. Your driver tracks your flight in real time and moves the pickup around it, so a slow immigration line or a delayed aircraft does not cost you the ride.
| Metric | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Distance | ~20-25 km / 12-16 mi | Door to door via Highway 1 (Carretera Transpeninsular) |
| Typical time | 22-30 min | Off-peak (mornings, mid-afternoon) |
| Peak-hour time | 32-45 min | 12:00-4:00 pm arrivals, high season (Dec-Apr) |
| Zone | Tourist Corridor | Km 22.5, San José end — same band as Hilton and Marquis |
| Starting price | $92 USD | Private van, up to 8 passengers |
The Westin is a villa property: accommodations run from a 414 sq ft studio villa sleeping four to a 1,206 sq ft two-bedroom premium villa sleeping eight, with a kitchenette or a full kitchen in every layout. That shapes who we move here — one family filling a two-bedroom villa, two couples sharing it, or two related villas traveling on the same flight — and it usually means more luggage than a one-week hotel-room stay. Three vehicle categories cover all of it, and the price is per vehicle, not per person: what you see at checkout is what you pay, with no fuel surcharge, no toll add-on, and no per-bag fee.
| Vehicle | Capacity | Best for | One-way price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Van | Up to 8 pax | A two-bedroom villa at full occupancy, car seats, strollers and a week of luggage | $92 USD |
| VIP Suburban | Up to 6 pax | Couples and two-couple villas wanting a premium first impression | $100 USD |
| Mercedes Sprinter | Up to 18 pax | Two or three villas arriving together on one flight | $153 USD |
Guests arriving at a hotel room land and go to dinner. Guests arriving at a villa with a kitchen usually want coffee, breakfast, water and snacks in the fridge before the first morning, and the supermarkets are on the way in rather than near the resort. A 30-minute grocery stop on the route from SJD is a standard add-on at $25 USD on top of the transfer ($50 for a 60-minute stop) — Walmart, Costco (membership required) and La Comer are the three usual stops on the corridor route. Add it when you book, in the same special-requests field used for car seats, and the driver builds it into the timing instead of improvising it at the curb.
| Option | Approx. cost | Time to resort | Comfort |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private transfer (us) | $92 USD / vehicle | 22-30 min direct | A/C, water, free child seats, flight tracking, door to door |
| Taxi sindicato (Zone 3, Tourist Corridor) | $75-95 USD / vehicle | 22-30 min | Cash only at the arrivals kiosk, no flight tracking, no child seats |
| Shared shuttle (third-party operators) | $20-30 USD / person | 70-95 min | 15-60 min fill wait plus 2-4 other corridor hotel stops before yours |
| Rental car | $50-90 USD / day + insurance | 22-30 min | You drive after a long flight, plus resort parking |
Party size decides this quickly. The shared shuttle is cheapest per person at $20-30, so a solo traveler or a couple can genuinely save on it — but a villa party of four is already at $80-120, which straddles the $92 private van, and pays it with a 15-60 minute fill wait and 2-4 other corridor drop-offs before yours. At six — a two-bedroom villa at normal occupancy — the shuttle is $120-180 against the same $92. The sindicato Zone 3 band ($75-95) brackets our flat rate, so the difference there is not really the number: it is cash-only at the arrivals kiosk, no flight tracking, and no child seat. A rental car earns its keep if you plan to drive to Todos Santos or the East Cape on your own; for a villa week built around the pools, the kids club and a couple of beach days, it mostly sits in the parking lot.

Clear immigration and baggage claim, then walk past the timeshare and taxi desks in the arrivals hall to Shaded Area #3 outside Terminal 1. Your host is holding a board with our logo and your name, and any child seats you booked are already installed. From there it is a single, uninterrupted ride: Highway 1 west out of San José del Cabo, past the Costa Azul surf break, into the Westin entrance at Km 22.5 and up to the main lobby, where the resort team takes over the luggage and the check-in. No stop at another hotel, no stop at a "welcome center."
The resort is one of the most recognizable buildings on the corridor: a coral-pink arc designed by the Mexican architect Javier Sordo Madaleno, with rounded edges and a curved opening framing the Sea of Cortez. Accommodations are villas rather than standard rooms — studio, two-bedroom and two-bedroom premium layouts plus Governor and Presidential suites, each with a kitchenette or full kitchen. Dining runs across several venues, among them Cocina Casera, Coralline, El Ciruelo, Mercadito and La Cantina sports bar, and there are multiple pools including a surfside infinity pool and a separate children's pool. The Westin Family Kids Club takes ages 4-12, Spa Otomí handles skin and body treatments, and the WestinWORKOUT fitness studio, lighted tennis courts and a sand volleyball court round out the grounds.
The first is the ocean. The beach in front of the resort is a walking and sunset beach, not a swimming one — the surf and the rocky entry make it unsafe, which is normal along most of this coast, and the swimming happens in the pools. The nearest reliably swimmable water is in the Costa Palmilla coves, Palmilla Bay and Chileno Bay, which Oyster's review puts at roughly 10 and 15 minutes down Highway 1. They are a drive, not a walk, so if a cove day is on the list, book the ride from the Westin lobby the same way you booked the airport leg rather than negotiating a corridor taxi on the day.
The second is the stairs. The Baja Point villas are arranged like a cliffside village across several buildings, with a lot of steps between the lobby, the villas and the pools; Oyster's review flags it as unsuitable for guests with limited mobility, and the main towers are the accessible choice. It matters for the transfer in one practical way: if anyone in your party has limited mobility, say so in the booking notes. We drop at the main lobby either way, but knowing in advance means the driver hands the bags to the bell desk for the villa run instead of assuming you will take them from the curb.
Booking sites file it under both, which confuses first-time visitors. It is in neither town: Km 22.5 is on the Tourist Corridor, the highway stretch between them, at the San José end. That is not the San José del Cabo beachfront hotel zone near town (Hyatt Ziva, JW Marriott, Viceroy), where transfers run 15-20 minutes, and it is nowhere near the Cabo San Lucas marina, which is 30-40 minutes from SJD. Practically, corridor means a short drive to either town rather than walking distance to either — San José del Cabo and its Thursday Art Walk are the closer of the two. The Tourist Corridor zone page breaks distance and price down by resort area, and the Costa Palmilla rate page lists the drive time for each of the six properties.
Child seats are free, and we need only the ages and weights when you book so the right seat — infant, convertible or booster — is installed before your flight lands. Strollers and pack-and-plays ride in the van without eating into your luggage allowance; a family of four with two large suitcases, two carry-ons and a stroller fits the van comfortably. On timing, build the peak window into arrival day: if you land at 3:00 pm in February, assume the 32-45 minute end of the band rather than 22-30, and if you are adding the grocery stop, add its 30 minutes on top of that before you plan the first dinner.
San José-end corridor returns normally leave the resort three hours before departure: 22-30 minutes of driving, plus the international check-in and security window at SJD Terminal 1, plus a margin for the San José del Cabo bottleneck if your flight leaves mid-morning. Booked as a round trip, the return is already scheduled and discounted; booked separately, message us on WhatsApp 24 hours before checkout and we price and confirm it on the spot. The same child seats come back for the return leg at no charge.
Your transfer is ready whenever you are. Book in under 2 minutes — no account needed.
