The official taxi sindicato at SJD charges Zone 3 rates for the Tourist Corridor — comparable to ours but without flight tracking, English-speaking drivers, or any recourse if your flight is delayed.

The taxi sindicato's official Zone 3 rate ($75-95) sits close to our $92 private rate, but is cash-only with no flight tracking and no guarantee of an English-speaking driver. A rental car makes sense if you plan to explore beyond your resort — Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, Todos Santos — but for a straight airport-to-hotel trip it rarely saves money once insurance is added, and unlike a private transfer, it does not adjust for a delayed flight.
